About the integration

This integration will facilitate a two-way data sync between Freshsales and Gong. This app version will help sales team members use Gong UI within Freshsales Suite. The customer will see the list of calls and recordings from Gong associated with Freshsales Deals, Contacts, and Accounts in the respective records.

Gong integration helps sales teams convert more of their pipeline into revenue by facilitating insights to the team's sales conversations. This is done to showcase what the customers and sales persons are discussing, and it also helps improve the value of the discussions to ensure more deals are closed.

How to Connect

Available to Freshsales customers on Enterprise plans.

Pre-Installation page

1. Go to the configuration page and enter a valid email address
2. Click on next will take you to the Gong connect page
3. Gong access key and access secret will be available in Gong instance
4. Open Gong Website and then create an account
5. Under User icon dropdown click on company settings
6. In company settings page, click on the API under Ecosystem section
7. Click on API Keys tab, there will be Get API Key button
8. Click on API Key button will provide us with the Gong Access key and Access secret
9. Copy the Gong Access key and Access secret and paste it in the Required fields
10. Entered email address cannot be changed after final validation
11. To edit email address hit the ‘Change Email’ button on the Email card
12. Hit the connect button to validate the page.

Post-Installation page

1. Go to configuration page
2. Hit the edit button on Gong access secret and key to edit Gong access secret and key
3. Enter the Correct Gong access secret and key and hit connect to validate
4. Hit the edit button on Freshsales domain and API key to edit Freshsales domain and API key (optional)
5. Enter the correct Freshsales domain and API key and hit connect to validate (optional)
