Gong Automation Rules
Create webhooks and manage the data exported from Gong to other applications.
About Gong Automation Rules
The idea behind automation rules is to make something happen automatically so you don't have to work too hard.
Right now, we support creating the following types of rules:
Send data using webhooks
Webhooks are often used to send data to other apps to automate tasks and workflows and combine the call data with other company data to see a fuller picture. The data includes topics, trackers, team member stats, and more. For more information, see Create a webhook rule.
Send data via Zapier to supported applications
Zapier enables you to pick and choose which data to forward and to who via, for example, Slack or HubSpot. Include data such as user name, media type, user ID, opportunity name, account name, snippet, call URL, opportunity amount, scope, and snippet speaker. For more information, see Create a Zapier rule using Gong data and FAQs for Zapier rules.
Automatically delete calls
Delete calls based on certain phrases, for example, when verbal consent was not given. Gong automatically deletes calls based on phrases identified in the call. When using this rule, bear in mind that Gong might misidentify phrases, causing innocent calls to be deleted, or miss identifying phrases, causing calls that should have been deleted to remain in Gong. For more information, see Create a rule to automatically delete calls.
